Inspired by the night sky, Southern Sky is like the spiralling milky way; a dark blue background washed in scattering white haloes.
Our skilled glaze technicians double dip each piece in two very different glazes to achieve this unique reactive and varied effect.
The base glaze is red and magically changes colour when fired to a dark blue and the top glaze is one of our standard whites.
During the firing process the two layers of glaze interact creating a beautiful dark blue base with white rings.
